About Us

We are delighted to serve you and your children. Mize Elementary was built in 2000 and happily serves students in grades K-5. It is also home to the old Virginia School House, which was built in 1878. This schoolhouse was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in February of 2004 and moved to our grounds in 2005. Our building is also home to disc golf and a walking trail surrounded by lush trees and an abundance of wildlife. These resources provide many on sight educational opportunities for our students. There is always something fun going on at Mize!
